Leaf and craft
Fujian gardens at around 1,100 metres supply a single midsummer harvest for this Oriental Beauty-style oolong. Leafhopper interaction contributes to its honeyed fruit character.
Sun-withering, gentle tossing and roughly 70% oxidation precede rolling and baking in two stages.
First brew
Use 7 g per 150 ml at 95°C. Begin with 10 seconds and extend subsequent infusions.
