In the cup
The liquor is deep reddish-brown, with a clean aroma of damp wood, earth and a little dried fruit.
The body is rounded and mellow. Smooth sweetness develops steadily as you move through the infusions.
Leaf and craft
Large leaves gathered from mature tea trees in Menghai undergo traditional wo dui, or pile fermentation.
Humidity and temperature are monitored during fermentation, and the leaves are then dried.
