Platinum Grace is a Jin Xuan white tea from Fujian. Its amber-gold cup is soft and rounded, with honey, ripe fruit, delicate flowers and a little mineral character in the finish.

In the cup
The clear amber-gold liquor is soft and rounded. Honeyed sweetness, ripe fruit and delicate flowers form the main profile.
Subtle mineral character appears in the finish and remains through later infusions.
Leaf and craft
Highland Fujian leaf is sun-withered, rested indoors and lightly oxidised before gentle baking.
The finished leaves show silvery hairs and reddish tips. This is a white-tea treatment of Jin Xuan rather than a strongly roasted one.
First brew
For gongfu, use 7 g per 150 ml at 85–90°C. Start with 10–15 seconds and extend later rounds.
For Western brewing, use 3 g per 300 ml at the same temperature for 2–3 minutes.
